Experience
I am an English teacher with experience in raising reading comprehension skills, correct grammar usage, and writing fluency. I teach using a gradual release approach - I demonstrate the topic, we practice it together, and then you get to practice it on your own. I love answering questions and working with others to help them better understand topics. I am constantly researching best practices and ways to further subject understanding. I am very familiar with assessments, standardized tests (such as ACT and SAT), and other forms of assessment. I studied English (reading and writing) and teaching for 5 years in college.
